Greetings my fellow Newsletter Nerds!

Jay here - I have a huge announcement…

But before I reveal the announcement, I want to recap what this newsletter is about and why I started it.

The Newsletter Nerd is a weekly newsletter dedicated to helping you start, grow, and monetize your newsletter. It was created to scratch my own itch. I had been working at beehiiv (the best newsletter platform), and I wanted a place to share my learnings.

Since starting this newsletter, so many awesome opportunities have happened. I’m now working as a newsletter consultant and content strategist for Noah Kagan, Z Fellows, and the Startup Archive.

While I’m still an obsessed Newsletter Nerd at my core—with all the work I’ve been juggling—I didn’t feel like I could properly run, grow, and provide the best value to you as possible.

So I decided to do what any true Newsletter Nerd would do…

I handed this newsletter to the biggest Newsletter Nerd I know.

In other words, the Newsletter Nerd newsletter has been acquired!

By who, you ask?

By the legendary founder of the Newsletter Operator himself! Matt McGarry.

Matt’s worked behind the scenes with some of the largest newsletters in the world like The Hustle, Milk Road, and Codie Sanchez.

So what can you expect next?

Instead of my weekly emails on Sunday — you’ll receive Matt’s weekly deep dives on Saturday.

That’s it? That’s it! (Except Matt will nerd out and provide a lot better in-depth insights than I can.)
